Privacy & GDPR

WP SMS provides privacy features compliant with GDPR Article 17, which grants users the right to access, export, or delete their personal data.

Enable GDPR Compliance Enhancements

1. Go to SMS → Settings → General
2. Find the Data Protection Settings section
3. Enable GDPR Compliance Enhancements
4. Save changes

Once enabled, a Privacy page appears in the SMS menu.

Privacy Page Features

The Privacy page allows administrators to:

Action	Description
Export Data	Export user data upon request
Erase Data	Permanently delete user information

GDPR Article 17

Article 17 of GDPR establishes the “right to be forgotten” - users can request deletion of their personal data stored by your organization.
