License Activation Troubleshooting

This guide helps you resolve common issues when activating your WP SMS license.

Common Issues

Expired License

When your license has expired, you cannot validate it or receive updates.

Solution:

1. Log in to your account at wp-sms-pro.com
2. Renew your license
3. Return to WordPress and revalidate

Incorrect License Key

Even small typos will prevent successful validation.

Solution:

1. Check your purchase confirmation email
2. Or log in to your account and copy the license key from your subscriptions
3. Paste the key carefully in SMS → Add-Ons

Domain Limit Exceeded

Licenses have restrictions on how many domains can use them.

Solution:

1. Log in to your account at wp-sms-pro.com
2. Navigate to Subscriptions
3. Select your subscription
4. Click Manage Domains
5. Remove unused domains or upgrade your license

Connection Issues

WP SMS needs to connect to the licensing server to validate keys. Server firewalls or hosting provider restrictions may block this connection.

Solution:

• Contact your hosting provider to whitelist the licensing server
• Check if your server has outbound connection restrictions
• Try temporarily disabling security plugins

WordPress Multisite

Each subdomain and subdirectory counts as a separate domain for licensing purposes.

Solution:

• Add each subdomain/subdirectory individually in your domain management
• Consider upgrading to a license with more domain slots

Revalidate Your License

After making changes:

1. Go to SMS → Add-Ons
2. Enter your license key
3. Click Activate
